3 most important things I do as a teacher

talking is not in the top three.  I aim to design lessons to get students thinking, then listen to their thoughts during our instructional conversation or other formative assessments.  When I get to know their thinking, I can either design opportunities with students to show what they have accomplished or design a new lesson to get them on a better path toward learning.  That's differentiation.
